Good combo, you'll have every occasion covered.

I saw the blue dialed DJ II on a black alligator strap a few weeks ago and it was gorgeous. Not to mention the amazing Nato/ExpII combinations we see on here. With a few straps you will have a lot of variety.

That know in your stomach, it's not you feeling sick ... it's you feeling excitement at a new acquisition! But be careful, it's highly contagious, it infected me and I bought 6 Rolex's in 2 months! But I've mostly gotten control of it now, although I'm due for my fortnightly wander down to my AD to check out if there's anything new ... what better way to spend my lunchtime lol!

normal yes...

Nothing wrong with multiple Rolexes... I started with one Sub, then told everyone, including myself that one is the perfect number, then found a GMT that I had to have, then a Tudor Sub, then a Omega speedmaster....

I'm a long time lurker on the forum but man. You guys are killing me! I really want that Explorer II, I'm still torn between the black one and the white one. Every time I think I have my heart set on a color, I see the other and switch. Beautiful watch!

You are still normal with 2 Rollies ... but you are on your way to the slippery slope of more than 2 Rollies

I think the Exp 42 is very underrated. I also purchased one recently, the polar as I have a black sub. Even after my purchase for several weeks had feelings of guilt owning two expensive watches. I think this is lessening with time, and it is reassuring that there a lot sicker people than me on TRF that have multiple watches. Enjoy your new purchase, a lovely sports watch to complement your White datejust

Congrats and wear them both in good health! You are perfectly normal....I myself have a similar condition...I have purchased 4 watches since December, the black Expy II is one of them and she's a beaut...so you have a much more mild affliction!!

In my defense, its not my fault I was offered a BNIB Random 16610 LV at original list or M DSSD with brand new clasp for under 7500 or that I got the Expy II for 27% off list with no tax!!

Icon20 6 MONTHS LATER (still very happy)

every day at work for 6 months, my daily beater. love the watch just as much as day 1.
i even leave it on some evenings and weekends and leave the DJ2 sleeping.
i have used the sanding pad a few times on the strap to remove the worst scratches, the brushed finish is so good at hiding light scratching and still looks good imo. (sorry only i phone pics)
