I have an Invicta 8926OB.

It's sitting here on my desk, with a broken something or other in the movement.

I think most of us agree that homage watches are okay, but when you buy a watch regardless of what it is, it should be reliable and durable and backed by a company that at least has some integrity.

If you don't want to spend a lot on a watch and you like the Sub style, an homage is the way to go. As long as it's not illegal, the fight is between the companies, like with Apple and Samsung.

I would just discourage you from wasting your money on something that will not be backed adequately in case something goes wrong.

However, it's your call.

Many many years ago I told an acquaintance that I wanted to get a Sub. They said "Why don't you get a fake or a clone? No one will know."

I replied "That's not true. I will know."

This is my Invicta Pro Diver which cost me $79 new and a used watchadoo bracelet for $42. So for $119 I have a good looking, good wearing and very accurate quartz watch. Not a Rolex, but a good inexpensive watch. Cheers, Bill P.

If I didn't like Rolex I wouldn't have 6 of them. I liked the Sub so much, it came first, that I bought an Invicta, an Alpha and an MQJ and, since this picture was taken, I have added a Soki which cost $15 including shipping from China. All of them work amazingly well.
As far as the OP is concerned, the Invicta is accurate within 15 seconds/day and has been utterly dependable.

Is this a mechanical movement? Have you contacted Tony Yu? If not I suggest you do he can be reached at the main Invicta C/S 800 number.
