G-Shock Running Slow

Can anyone tell me why my G-Shock, which is set to receive (and is receiving) daily radio time signals, is suddenly running a full minute slow, as confirmed both by my cell phone and time.gov? It was dead-on the last time I checked a few days ago. Also it is actually the hands that are slow - the digital display in one of the small windows is correct. Thanks in advance-

I'll check my rolex g-shock troubleshooters guide and let you know.

It is a G-Shock, however mechanical hands may get misaligned after a shock.

There is also those with what Casio calls " Tough Movement " that checks the alignment of hands by means of sensors at around midnight.

Yeah, knew I risked that when I posted a G-Shock question on a Rolex forum-

Yes, it occurred to me that the minute hand might have been knocked off kilter; although I can't remember the watch suffering any trauma other than being dropped about three feet onto a wood floor- figured that shouldn't upset a G-Shock... I'll have to check whether this model has "Tough Movement."

Mine isn't a G-Shock, but only the digital portion of the watch I have syncs to atomic time.

Can't you synch the hands to the correct digital time manually?

Yes, but I didn't want to have to register for yet another forum just to ask a single question. I've seen enough non-Rolex topics here to figure no one would be offended by my question.

Problem solved

This is not uncommon, apparently. Mechanical shock or magnetism can throw off G-Shock mechanical hands. There is a procedure in the manual to re-align the mechanical hands with the digital readout.

No offense taken - just that's where I thought the greatest number of experienced folks would be.

I actually did go there, but couldn't even search without registering (thanks for the link though). As it turns out all I had to do was google a phrase or two; a couple of the posts here were spot on as well.
