Rubber band and modifications.
I have a '96 14060 SS Sub with Oyster - what good rubber bands are out there (and are they worth it? - meaning comfort, good looks, etc). Also, what about a bezel replacement? Would putting a blue or red bezel on my watch hurt the value or is it OK to modify freely? Input please...

Isofrane and RubberB straps have been some favorites around rubber strap lovers here.
I'd say it will really hurt the value to put aftermarket blue or red bezels on your Sub...

Aftermarket or modifications will hurt the value, especially if they aren't reversable. I'm a purist. It's drive me nuts. A NATO is as far as I'll go

As far as mods go, it's your watch so you should change it if you want. However, you should make sure your changes are reversible if you don't want to adversely affect the value.
