Sub 16613
I am looking at trading for my dream Rolex. It's a submariner 16613, value $5250. I have never owned a Rolex and would like to be schooled on ownership. Can someone suggest any particular threads? Curious about how often it should get serviced and how much?
It comes with box, extra link, papers, etc. supposedly manufactured in 95 and recently serviced. He claims it spent most of its life on a winder. Is that recommended? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks PS I am not trying to sell anything here. Just trying to get some information from the experts is all |

That's a great price for a 17 year old two tone SD. Services around every 5 years is the norm & can run up to $500.

I would plan to spend $800 plus parts for RSC service, less if you use an independent certified watchmaker. That's your first service.
Then in another 5-7 years, budget $1200 based on inflation. Then in another 5-7 years, budget $1800 Then...well, you get the idea...
