Thanks. My initial impression is that it is very well made, the bezel click is very precise, and the fit of the solid endlinks is excellent. The bracelet tapers from 22m to 18mm, and this makes it feel more substantial than the bracelet on the Rolex Submariner. The larger diameter case, coupled with the thinner bezel gives it much more wrist presence than the SubC ND. The finishing is very nice, and the clasp uses spring backed ceramic ball bearings to secure it, which operate very smoothly, but is extremely secure at the same time.

The domed sapphire gives the watch crystal the shape one typically associates with a plexiglass crystal, and the dial itself is domed very slightly. The bezel itself is very thin at the edge, and becomes thicker going inwards, which together with the domed crystal, make the crystal itself very pronounced. The color combination of the matte dial, rose gold colored metal surrounding the indices and hands, and the burgundy bezel gives the watch a very warm feel. The big crown allows you to wind the watch very comfortably, and I like the color accent around the crown tube, although I'm not sure how robust it'll be as I've seen a preowned Black Bay for sale where there was a scratch on this.

In general, it's a fun watch to wear, with a nice vintage feel to it, but yet very modern in terms of size and quality of construction.

This is exactly why I'd consider buying the BB!

Congrats!
