Vintage Sub, leather, and jeans...

Here is how the Toshi strap looks:

I just googled Toshi and found a website- they look nice, but more of the Panerai style. How does your buckle look?

Have you seen jedley's straps? They look great on vintage pieces.

The buckle is fantastic.

It does give the 1680 sub a Pamerai feel without having some gigantic flying saucer on your wrist.

That's cool, but I think the Toshi gives it a more rugged look (something that Aaron Cross, hawk eye, or Jack Bauer would wear).
The jedleys are thin... I wanted to have a large distinction between my GMTIIc (more dressy), and the Sub (more casual).

I think the oyster bracelet competes too much with the sub. With the Toshi, it accentuates its beauty...

Very nice! Love the red sub with the red stitches. The 1680 bracelet is not as comfortable as the new oyster bracelets... And I never liked the stamped clasp. I have the bracelet stored in the watch box since it is freshly polished by the RSC.

I like the look better with the Toshi. If I was diving again I would have gone the Rubber B route. Now my 34 year old watch gives any Pam a run for its money... In looks anyway.

Panerai not Pamerai... Although I like Pamerai better.
