JLC Offerings 2013
Check out the new watches JLC are releasing this year,
http://collection.jaeger-lecoultre.c...ollections/new Lots of nice ones, I really like that they are bringing back the old-school triple calendar lay-out. Love the clean design. Master thin jubilee in pt. True dress watch. New ceramic case deep sea chrono, looks awesome as well Reverso ultra thin duo. Looks a bit like the WG released last year. Interesting with the black markers. I'm looking forward to see some live scans of these later on. |

Sounds like they had their ears on to the forums for the old layout of the Calendar.

Same.
Although I still seriously considered the model, I thought it distracted from the date ring and left a void in the middle. It sorta reminded me of Halibut eyes compared to the original dial configuration. You'll also notice they brought back the old case shape which has thinner tapered lugs and less metal around the bezel. Kudos for them doing this as the complications of this watch made it thicker and the older case was too cumbersome imho. I also thought it made the dial look cramped whereas the 'new/old version' gives the illusion of a larger dial. |

Some very interesting and cool pieces, but not a single one that lands on my "must have" list.

Master Calendar now wins vs. the MUT Moon.
I though my old Reverso Grande Date wore a little too chunky, hopefully the new Reverso Duo will be better proportioned. Some of the high horology pieces on their site look interesting, though perhaps out of my league. |
