15400 Bracelet

Tried on a 15400 Royal Oak again today. I love everything about this watch, the fit is great on me.

But I noticed this time when looking at it on in a full length mirror… the bracelet seemed extremely "blingy". And most of the stickers were still on it too. I know the chamfered edges are highly polished. But the way the brushed surfaces were reflecting looked very flashy to me. Am I just used to the more subdued brushed finish on the sub-c bracelet, or is the AP bracelet pretty flashy...

Maybe it's something to get used to… but it made the 15400 appear much dressier than I thought. Not a bad thing necessarily, but made me wonder how well it pairs with more casual wear (jeans, T-shirt).

My bracelet certainly glistens in the sun, but the links are not super polished so I wouldn't say it's a "blingy" watch. Trying to find a picture with some sun..

Sometimes the AD lighting make watches shine a lot more.
