Enjoyed this post very much! I've been back and forth between the exp II and subC and your reasoning is very sound and I share the same sentiments. I can't wait to join the club as well. Nothing beats shorts tshirts and flip flops!

Well it's the WIS in me that says the exp is the most bang for the buck. More complicated, new bigger 3187 movement. Beautiful dial and lume. Not to mention the fact that subs are so common. I just think that for me, the exp is the watches watch.
