Alex Pig & Recommendation
Hello guys,
I am new to the forum and I had a question about buying this Rolex from a dealer named Alex Pig from HK. He is a trusted seller on Chrono24 and I was just wondering whether any of you have any experience with him? It would be this Rolex: http://www.chrono24.nl/rolex/datejus...acturerIds=221 He offers the watch for EUR 1209, which is considerably lower than any Rolex offered in The Netherlands. Usually if a deal is too good to be true, it is. What do you think? Can I trust this guy? Thanks in advance! |

Welcome to the forum!
You are doing the right thing about inquiring before making a purchase. We have a member, alexpigtimepieces, which may the same that you are inquiring about. He has very limited posts in this forum, one thread most recently, is that of a very unfortunate one as he was the target of a scam. I can not offer a personal reference but can say that we exchanged a couple of emails regarding a potential purchase that did not materialize. |

Check for import duties and VAT before ordering from abroad.

Thanks a lot for the replies guys! What about the watch in the link, does it look authentic? It seems that the bracelet seems "pressed" rather than polished from the side. Is this a red flag? Moreover, it seems like there is very little stretch on the bracelet, and no scratches. Seems like it has not been worn before, but if it were NOS the price would be a lot higher. Do you think the watch is authentic?
When checking out the website and Facebook page of Alex Pig Timepieces Company, he seems like a proper company. It is just that I do not want my first time buying online to end up in a disaster. Thanks again! |
