Cartier Calibre

Let me start by saying that I have never liked or looked at the Cartier brand to add to my collection. Never liked any of their designs, yes including the Tank But recently I stopped by the Cartier boutique, following the wife and saw the Calibre de Cartier in person and I got to say I was in awe. The design looks sporty and classy at the same time, since then I been wanting one, but don't know if this feeling will past so haven't pulled the trigger. What are your opinions of the Calibre and Cartier as Brand? Thanks Guys

I've tried Roadsters, Santos XL, but there are only two Cartiers I'd really like to own. The classic Tank and the Calibre styled Concept.

Wow these look amazing, had no idea Cartier made these watches. What is the msrp? I'm thinking an arm and a leg Hope you can get one Mike, would love to see actual pics of this one

I really like Cartier, especially the Calibre de Cartier. I recently saw it in person too and thought it was very nice.
One thing I found when researching it were a couple of references to the minute hand jumping around when pushing in the crown during setting. I didn't handle the one I saw at the store, so I cannot confirm the issue, but I would check for this flaw if I ever do.

I dont think that cartier concept (I think thats ID Two??, not sure if im right) is for sale. That is an experiment of increased in efficiency by using several techniques. One is that the case there is sealed by a vacuum to reduce air friction and has special polymer barrels for extreme power reserve.

I think the Calibre is a stunning watch and fits into anyone's collection.

One thing is that is that it suffers from every other watch out there except patek and rolex in that it takes a serious drive off the lot price drop so find a good trusted seller for a good deal.

I think it's an awesome watch, the Calibre. Original style, great size, in-house movement.

And since they normally get passed over by Rolex, Omega, their prices are pretty decent too.

I really liked mine. I won't with the black dial on bracelet. It wore very well and kept great time.

Cartier is one of the classiest brands out there. I think the Calibre is a great looking watch. Tried a few on, but still haven't taken the plunge.

Unfortunately, Cartier's seem to depreciate quickly so make sure you love it.
