for GMT2 classic owners...
Hi All,
This is my second post here but i read as much as possible this so cool forum! I have a question for GMT2 classic owners: When your watch is stopped, is the second hand start to move at the first winding or you must turn several time the crown? How much turns in that case? Thanks for the response and sorry for my english... |

Rolo,
Every watch, no matter the brand, seems to have it's own "personality". I have some that when I pick them up, any sort of movement seems to start them going. Others need a little tap, or a swirl, and some start after a wind or two.. There are a bunch of wheels, pinions, and gears that have get aligned and start moving.

Mine starts when I wind it and then gently rock it once or twice. Interestingly, when my watch stops (GMT ll), the second hand is almost always at the 12or very close to it. That is strange but makes it easier to set again.

My watch has never stopped other than when I tried out the power reserve.
My wifes TT DJ however starts moving as soon as I go to set the time as she only wears it at the weekend. f |
