Interesting Pocket Watch

I bought this several years ago and just found it in my safe. I know it isn't worth much, but I didn't pay much either. It runs counter-clockwise, which I thought was unique. I know Hebrew is read right to left....time shown is about 8:22

That's funny, a friend of mine was just telling me about a hebrew clock in Prague that was working just like this watch of yours a few weeks ago!

That's quite a special timepiece, very nice Bob!

A HS classmate of mine, whose father was a Rabbi, moved to Israel and holds a university academic chair. He mentioned a clock in Prague to me, must be the same one! Thanks for sharing that photo!

That would mess me up after decades of reading clocks CW... or should I say CCW?

I have a wall clock in my office which runs CCW. The numbers and even the word "Quartz" are all mirror image. I am so used to it that it seems normal to me. I have to do a double take when looking at my watch or another clock. I'll try to sneak my camera into work and get a photo of it.

That's quite a pick up. I always enjoy seeing watches with unusual systems for telling the time.
