What is worse...
Wearing a rolex too tight or too lose?
When I adjust my sub it's either too tight or too loose, like when it's on tight it's not so bad but when I move my wrist certain ways feels like I am going to ruin the band like if I don't move wrist certain angles its fine other angles seems like band might snap lol if I wear it too loose it slides around not up and down wrist just side to side What is better to prevent stretching or damages wearing a little loose or a little tight Thanks guys |

Are you using the micro adjustments? Not just adding/removing links? I keep all my watches, one finger tight (meaning I can slip a pinky finger between my wrist and the band).

I wear mine tight....prevents from scratches....and no wearing it tight won't hurt the band....especially the new ones!!

Depending on the model you have it's usually a springbar holding the 12 o'clock bracelet to the underside of the clasp. That springbar is located in a pair of micro adjustments and there should be a few other slots. These give you about 2mm adjustments.

They're referring to the GlideLock clasp found on the newer ceramic 1166 Submariners. It is perfect for situations like yours

If your having difficulty finding a comfortable fit go into your local AD or jeweler and have them adjust it until your satisfied.

Definitely have the AD take out the appropriate links then adjust the micro-adjustment springbar in the clasp after to find the perfect fit.

I prefer not to see marks on my wrist when I take my watches off.
A little play and also a little breathing room. |
