GMT2 question

Ok thinking of getting an older gmt2 with Coke bezel and would love the ability to swap the coke for pepsi and the black bezel. Has anyone done this ? If so can I see what your watch looks like . Is it difficult to swap the bezels out say monthly just to change it up..

People swap inserts all the time. The RSC advised me against frequent swapping. Stands to reason that the metal on metal contact will wear down the case and bezel so you could risk losing a part down the road.

These watches were never intended (by Rolex) to have parts swamped frequently...but once in a while may be ok for your watch.

Numerous threads / pics about swapping if you search.

got to agree with "Speed" on that. I have all the 3 bezel inserts, but I only swapped them out once in awhile.

I have only had mine changed from "Coke" to "Pepsi" at the RSC. I like the "Pepsi" look better. I never swap them back and forth.

Aren't all three (standard black, Pepsi, and Coke) the same except for the bezel? At least that's what I thought but maybe this is wrong. But if so then it can't be too difficult to imagine what the watch would look like. If you put a Coke bezel on a Pepsi it will look exactly like a Coke GMT.

No problem. One of the incredible things about the GMTs. Just so cool. I won't be swapping my ceramic GMT bezel anytime soon:(

I had a 1675 and would go back and forth between Black and Pepsi a couple of times a month. No problems.
