Hello to all! Finally joined a few days ago after spending a couple weeks browsing here.

In a position in my life now where I can afford some nicer things & a Rolex is included in those. Have a feeling after spending some time here, I won't be a one-Rolex-kinda-guy. And It's honestly quite crazy. I've got a ton of inexpensive watches (Swiss Army, Invicta, Festina), plus my college graduation gift of a Tag SEL and I never look at them. I'll bet half of them either need a new battery or are set on the wrong time. But I wear a watch every day (running or not). Feels funny not to.

I figure at some point I'll get my dad's gold President, but he's pretty health so it may be a while. :)

Other than that, I'm really into racing (I know, I should be looking at Daytonas and not Subs). A friend of mine (Mark Dismore) actually has a Daytona....from winning Daytona. I race karts at his track here in Indiana.

TRF has been a learning experience - it's almost worse than the car forums I'm on. Information overload at first and then you start to figure things out, remember model numbers and it all starts to make sense.

So, hopefully in a few weeks I'll be the owner of a gently used Sub. I've kind of gone back & forth between it and an Explorer II (black), but I think for my first one I'll do a Sub & pick up the Explorer at a later date.
