Links on the Day-Date ...
Hi All - I was just wondering what the Day-Date 11XXXX came with in the way of links/screws from the AD? My Day-Date 118206 came with 4 screws on each side of the bracelet and more than enough links (which I am VERY happy about ) But I have seen some Day-Date 11XXXX models being sold with as few as two(!) screws. This is really sad in my book. Just Curious -Ron

The older DD's used the regular clasp of the day and had some range of adjustment. Not the non-adjustable crown clasp seen today.

Ron, those spare links weight a ton don't they?
Mine also had 4 removable links which I'm told was the full compliment, I stand to be corrected here |

.
depending on the year of your 118206 it was delivered with a President 83856 (begining in 2000) or a President 83206 (begining in 2003). Both have 24 links total. 83206 come initially with 5 removable links (4 screws on one side , 3 on the other side), unfortunately I don't have the info for 83856. |
