Icon5 Need to ask Trade opinion

Hello I haven't been on in some time. I have a trade possible wanted to ask what your take would be. I own an 18078 reg black dial frm 82 and 16800 with papers and inner box with the glossy dial. Both watches for an 05 stainless Daytona with white dial. Ya or nay?

If they don't have any sentimental value, I say go for it. Any doubts.....hold on to it for a lil while longer.

The only sentimental value is I had always wanted a pres and now I have it and I'm not sure it's for me although looks great on my wife in terms of value is it a wise or poor trade

Looks like an OK deal but no bargain. A 2005 Daytona should be in very good condition. My rough estimate of values is $12k for the Daytona, and $8k + $5k for the DD/Sub combination.

I'd have to do some research to find out exactly the value of your two watches, but I can't imagine this would be a good deal for you.

Nay for me, I like your DD and sub because you have 2 watches for 2 occasions unlike the daytona which i think is very versatile but i would still rather have 2 than 1 :D and I am bias to bark finishes :D

2005 Daytona price here is +/- $10.5k
Gold DD here is +/- $7.5k
16800 here is +/- $4.5k

Depends how much you like your current watches vs how much you will LOVE the Daytona...

This is a pretty good ball park.

The current value on your end is in the general range, $11K-11.5.

You do not mention any accessories on the 2005 Daytona, any papers - service condition?

These are you're answers. At least $1K coming your way would seal the deal for me.

I figured sub is worth true trade value of 3000 to 3300 and if I would get 6000 to 6500 trade that would be fairly strong. The other choice is keep the sub and trade it even for a vintage I spot on the street that's what I always do rare buy love trade. I say trade value before investing on service and resale

The trade is close but on the "other side's advantage."

I think the previous post of $1K (maybe a couple/few hundred extra) your way would almost even out the trade and would be a no-brainer...
