New SeaDweller in 42MM?
Hi all.
Is there any chance Rolex will re-release the sea dweller or a DSSD in a 42mm size? I have a 6.5" wrist and would love a SeaDweller with some of the new upgrades, but seems that may never happen! Thanks. Kevin |

The DSSD is just shy of 43mm

It will never ever happened. You simply cannot pack that much performance and technology into a watch with 3900 meters depth rating and make it 42mm.
But I don't see the problem really, why not just get the Submariner, which is 40mm but wears/looks a bit bigger or the Explorer II at 42mm? |

DSSD looks massive on me - my new submariner just barely fits my wrist. So is there no hope? =/

Something I love about the SD - more of a tool watch and I love the history.

If i had a 6.5 inch wrist I'd be praying for a new 35mm mid-size..

Why not get a mint Sea-Dweller 16600? It was the last true tool watch? It is what my pro-diving friends wear - no one who is a pro diver really wears the DSSD. Needless to say, it has more (relevant) history than the DSSD...
Having said that, the DSSD is a unique piece. But you have to play the cards you are dealt. |

you're right, but my new sub spoiled me on the better bracelet / clasp and the ceramic bezel - that on a 40mm SD would be amazing!

The Tudor Pelagos is the size you seek and a very dive capable watch too.
