Trade up Sub or add Breitling?

I have owned Rolexes and Breitlings. They are both very nice, though very different, watches. My question to you is if you believe you would feel comfortable wearing a 2 tone everywhere you presently wear the stainless. If you would, go for it. On the other hand, if what you are really missing is a nice chronograph, then it's hard to do better for the money than a preowned Chronomat. I have owned all kinds of watches, many with inhouse movements, but the most accurate of them all have been Valjoux 7750 s, one in a Panerai and one in a Breitling.

and whats exactly so bad about the Super Quartz movements??? it not an ordinary quartz movement you find in a 10 dollar watch.

just curious what do you mean by "others are bought from sub contract manufacturers"? do you mean that their base movements are ETA/Valjoux that have been modified?? if so again I dont really see the big deal there either.

I dont think that anyone considers Breitling on par with Rolex in terms of market share or making stuff in house. If anything I think Rolex is a much better marketing company than Breitling.
