Huge congrats! Great watch.

You may want to experiment wearing the watch higher on the wrist just above the wrist knuckle. It is the common position and puts significantly less stress on the band when you move your wrist backward. You may find it more comfortable.

I think the white Explorer II is the best model Rolex has for actually telling time - which is after all, the purpose of a watch.
