Fairfield County, CT AD's

I work in CT and was wondering if anyone has had experience with Addessi's or Harstens? I was thinking of visiting them on my lunch hour. Thanks for any input!

Don't know them, but if you can take some pics it would be great.

You live in NJ and work in Fairfield County? Now that's some commute!

Wave to me in Westchester as you drive by!(wave)
I'm actually looking for a good AD that I can visit but they can ship out of state so let me know what you find.
I've been to Greenwich ADs but Greenwich isn't exactly a discount area.

Very interesting. I don't want to hijack the thread too much but I'm curious, what kind of car do you commute with and is that a different car used just for commute purposes or is it your only car? High miles? How long do you keep a car like that before replacement? How much gas do you use per week?
I drive an older pickup truck as my commute is only 9 miles each way. I am considering changing jobs and would consider a dedicated econo-box commuter car for anything longer than 60 miles each way and keep the truck for house/weekend work and bad weather.
To keep this Rolex related, my AD is located in Barrington, RI and if you ever decide to take a long lunch and keep driving north, I highly recommend them.

I've bought several Rolex watches from Harstans in Guilford, they've been good to me over the years. Lenox is in Fairfield area and they're pretty good. Too many big fish live in Fairfield so I tend to buy from the smaller towns. You didn't mention what you're looking to buy? That can sway the decision.

cheers

Bill...I drive an Audi A4 with Quattro AWD and a 4 cyl. 99% of my commute is open highway so I get about 32 MPG. It's an '05 and has 130K on it and it runs like a Rolex

You could get an econo box but research it's survivability in a crash before you buy it.

Gas next to the highway is expensive so I am going through about $325 a month in gas. I roll all of my vehicles up to at least 200K before I sell. Hopefully the next car will be an A4 with the diesel this summer. I am a Mechanical Engineer and there are not many good high tech jobs in NJ so I make the drive.

No but I've worked there many times. Very cool place to work. You walk through that big parking lot in the morning and you watch all the Black Hawks flying around

Yeah, I'm from there [Ansonia] originally and have many family members and friends who work there. Very cool to see in person.

Funny, I do the reverse. Work in in NJ and live in Fairfield County. Bought my SS Daytona from Harstens in Guilford. Very, very good people to work with. I now commute on the Train, far too much hassle making that drive every day as I did for many years.

Harstans in Guilford, CT is one of the greatest AD I've dealt with. Friendly, great service and very fair prices. Even though I am moving to Dubai, I plan to continue to buy from them.

cheers
