New GMT-C question

Now that the batman-dark knight-RC-Cop Color-bruiser GMT has been released, will the model designation on the all black GMT-C change to all white and the GMT hand to blue, like the Pepsi and Coke colors were uniformed with the all black GMT? Don't hate, just a question?

For a collector, it would be nice to collect all color combos of the ceramic insert... No matter what colors they chose on the insert, this watch just can not look bad ...
I think I am gonna get out of collecting dive watches and get into collecting variations of this gmt ....I do hope they provide multi colored ceramic inserts...

I'm pretty sure that this is simply an option like the LV for the Sub..

Likely it won't affect any of the other GMT's at all.

B Bleu
L Lunette (Rolex babble for Bezel)

I agree it is probably just another offering like the green Sub. I certainly don't see them changing the 24 hour hand to blue on the regular model. My understanding is the change from the red to the green (company color) GMT hand was to reflect 50 years of production. So I think the green hand is here to stay at least until they do the next major revamp to the watch like the one in 2005 with new case, etc. and not just a bezel addition to the line.

I think it would be great if the "standard" black GMT would have the blue hand and all-white lettering.

I guess we'll see if they want to continue to paint different colored GMT hands moving forward.

Does anyone thinks the green GMT lettering will change to white in the future?

I think it would be crazy of Rolex to change the current black GMTc to the blue black's hand and lettering, but then as we are increasingly seeing with Rolex alot of their decisions are pretty crazy, so brace yourselves.

Unlikely

Colour-coding the 24 hour hand to the bezel choice helps stop people buying one watch, and swapping bezels for a different look.

You want a different look to your GMT? You gotta buy a new watch.
