Suggestions for service in the DC area

I went to put on my old trusty Pepsi GMT this morning, and noticed that it was not running, even though I keep it on a winder. It started back up after a few turns, but when I went to set the time, it was kind of hard to turn the hands, and they were kind skippng a bit.
I know it needs a service, it has been a while, question is, where do I take it?
I think the last time I took it to Lillinquist and Beckstead in Tysons?
Any other suggestions, and how much can I expect to pay for a service nowadays.
Cheers!!

Some of the best independent certified watchmakers who have Rolex parts accounts may not be closeby to you. If you aren't against shipping it, consider some of the trusted guys here on TRF. That way you get the best workmanship no matter where they live/work.

I'm lucky to have Gary Wilson nearby and can recommend his work. Another option is to have a TRF'er with RSC-Greece connections help you get it done there for a significant savings over Rolex USA RSC price.

Send it to Rikki or RSC.

Here's a place in DC that services onsite. Rolex AD.

Tiny Jewel Box
Jorge Schefer - Sales
[email protected]
1147 Connecticut Ave., NW, DC.
202-393-2747

The guy Jorge was pretty helpful when I was there a few weeks ago. I was looking at either a DJII or a Breitling Transocean...

I will be in the DC area in a couple weeks and was looking for a good watchmaker as well. I found http://herndonclockandwatch.com. Keep in mind I haven't used them but they at least sound worth a visit.
