I'd like to know as well.
Rolex website only shows the blue dial for 40mm. But shows both for the 35mm, if I'm not mistaken. |

Funny I just was at my AD Saturday and asked the same question. He said as of now its only available with the blue face. He's expecting them to offer the platinum dial in the near future... Btw the platinum dial is amazing, but the new version feels like so much more watch to me. I'd say its worth waiting for the upgraded plat version

116622 comes in either Pt. or Blue.
As for "upgraded" he only real difference is the clasp.

The difference is that the braclet now has solid links instead of hollow links. And of course the new clasp.
And yes both the blue and platinum dial are available. |

In regards to the older model, I always thought the YM was the first to get solid links prior to every other model....or was it the Daytona. Maybe someone here can clarify.

That is correct. The older YM always has the solid links but with the standard stamped clasp. By older I meant the reference number 16622 up to and including the most recent manufactured YM ref.16622 with G serial number. Last year Rolex upgraded the clasp and changed the reference number to 116222 and introduced the blue dial YM in addition to the PT dial.

Like the blue but LOVE the Pt model especially with a clasp upgrade.
