I don't see anything, maybe some sort of reflex.

And a ceramic bezel CAN'T be polished.Ceramic surfaces are essentially a glaze. A very tough, slightly flexible, surprisingly thick glaze all things considered, but a glaze nonetheless. You can't polish it. Try to do so and you'll end up dulling or marking more of the bezel.

If it bothers you and it's still under warranty, I'd have it checked out by RSC.

Good luck!

Others here will disagree. They've successfully buffed out scratches on their ceramic bezels. Do a search and take a look for yourself.

Correct. Because the two facets are at different angles. Its a crack. Tell them it hasn't been knocked or abused in any way. it could just be from expansion/contraction and may have been like that since new. Let us know what happens. Good luck.

If there's not any sign of abuse and the crack was cause by some unknown manufacturing defect there's a good possibility you get a free replacement. Otherwise be ready to spend big bucks Ooouch!

can not see anything is that the left edge of the circle is literally on top
of the crack...

OP: You're not seeing things ... how do i break it to you gently: looks like
your bezel is screwed!
I think everyone is looking at the wrong thing...

The OP didn't circle that part that everyone thinks looks like a crack -- he circled a gray line that's perpendicular to it. If looking at the pic that RolexDivers created with the two red lines, the top red line is right on top of the gray line I think the OP is questioning.

+1

That's how I interpreted the OPs post.

Now I'm really confused.

Apparently I can't see any crack, mark, or scuff...because it's either a shadow or a figment of my imagination.

The AD will be able to provide a definitive answer. Hopefully the result is one where you don't have to spend a lot of money to replace the bezel.

Good luck!

I'm not at all convinced about these ultra-shiny, high-tech, uber-expensive new ceramic inserts - they either fall out or crack, and I know any material or part can be damaged, but these things are invariably only a matter of weeks or months old. I've seen many threads along these lines lately. Not impressed. Give me one of these any day; matte, faded and scratched even better:

Good job taking it in to the RSC. I'm going to take a wild guess here (please let me know if I'm on the right track) that it was not in fact a scratch, therefore not on the surface. But, rather a discoloration that ran through the ceramic itself i.e. a manufacturing defect. That being the case, it would be impossible to polish out and inconceivable that Rolex could claim (as others have stated) that you caused it and refuse to fix it?

the watchmaker said he was not sure what was that and he was quite busy so he just tell me wait one week and he will replace the bezel to the new one.
