Rod Stewart & Root-Beer

We had a great time at the concert last night, lucky to get a floor-seat for the event and everyone was up dancing & singing from the moment he came on-stage.

He performed lots of the old favourites with a couple of new songs blended into the set, a great party atmosphere, balloons & footballs distributed as per usual, highly recommended. Hard to believe he’s 68 !!!

Sorry about the rubbish phone-pic ,but I had to get a wrist shot for you guys didn’t i? lol

He was one of my favorites growing up I remember when MTV played music and his videos were on several times a day. Glad you had a good time.

Awesome. Going to see him in Philly in December was originally scheduled for April. Tickets were a gift from the gf, second row center. Was hoping for row 1 center but couldn't find anything. Will be my 5th time seeing him.

His work with Jeff Beck , Faces and solo tunes like Gasoline Alley and especially Cut Across Shorty were FM radio staples before 1970 . He went mainstream " rock star " and I lost interest , in 1971 and after, starting with AM radio tunes like Maggie May.
OTOH, I greatly respect his contribution to the hobby that he has been most passionate about for decades, model railroad building- he is an amazing buff who builds a lot of his sets from scratch and has a huge set up on nearly the entire third floor of his Beverly Hills home. Check it out !

I thought this was going to be a thread about Rod The Mod and his Root Beer! Oh Well, a Root Beer sighting is never a disappointment.
