YM2 SS question

hi all i have a question regarding the new ym2 stainless steel. based on the pic, is the portion labeled as 1 polished(seems like it is brushed)? i know portion labeled as 2 is polished. i am curious about this since i know ym1 SS, ym2 two tone and ym2 gold and white gold have all the portion 1 polished.

I haven't seen one in person but I can't imagine that those two sections of the same piece would be different finishes. I say both polished.

My guess is that it would be the same as the super-case sports models in SS, brushed on top and polished on the sides.

Agree - and if you look at the PCL on the end-link you can discern that the top of lugs are brushed while case sides are polished.

It's brushed to differentiate it from the gold versions

It looks to be the same as my super case sub-c. Brushed on top and polished sides

I currently own a YM2 TT Everose/steel 2012. It's both polished. I guess it should be using the same case. Hope it helps.

Brushed on the steel case but polished on the gold/TT case.
