The Black Dial 15400
Hard to capture the different hues and reflections ... from jet black to silver with just a flick of the wrist.

It would look nicer without the stickers.

Yeah yeah ... TBH I was not wearing it as I could not get the proper fit ... I had to order the 1 1/2 link and only got it installed yesterday.
I was getting frustrated with it ... unholy thoughts started crossing my mind ... It went from loose and dangly to a sharp bladed tourniquet. Added the half link and now it is silky smooth and incredibly comfortable, custom tailored so to speak It is unbelievable but it makes the world of difference.

For me, it was a must have. It is not the most elegant solution but you can barely notice it in real life ... and as I mentioned, it makes a huge difference.

To tell the truth ... I am ambivalent about this dial. I love it when it is flat black / dark grey ... not so crazy when it turns into silver grey ... it becomes a little bit too flat against the case (for my taste anyway).

I know what you mean, I usually prefer black to white but the 400 silver/white dial had me completely enthralled so for this watch I prefer the white dial over black, altho both look great due to the tapisserises unique light capture.

I got the opportunity to try out a black dial 15400 recently. Here's a pic
Overall, I still prefer the white dial. It handles light reflection better. But I think it is easier to match clothes with the black dial as it is more casual. |
