Best "Watches 101" book?

Greetings,

I'm in search of a good intro book into the world of wrist watches. Hoping to educate myself on the history of watchmaking, but more importantly, the inner workings of watches, different movement details, etc. Any good recos? Thank you!

Maybe you would have more luck if you posted this in the Watch Tech portion of the forum.

Try 1001 wrist watches. Got plenty of generic references and is nice in hard back.
