24 Hour Hand Alignment

Several months a go I, and others, reported that the 24 hr hand on our GMTIIc's were not perfectly aligned. My TT model was about 4 minutes off perfect alignment. After living with it that way for a few months, I finally decided to send it back to Rolex for adjustment. Two weeks ago I dropped it off at a local AD for them to send to RSC. As I live in Virginia, I'm sure they sent it to NY. I was told by the AD that it would take 6-8 weeks. Much to surprise the AD called me yesterday, after a mere two weeks, to let me know the watch was back. I picked it up today and the 24 hour hand is now spot on aligned. The added bonus was that the watch was sent back to me in one of those neat green suede material snap pouches with a new polishing cloth. All's well that ends well.

thanks guys. Admittedly a bit OCD but as has often been stated, at these prices they should be perfect.

My advice is to follow JJ's good advice in an earlier post regarding guidelines for purchase
