Sea dweller info required
Hi
I am lusting after a Sea Dweller as I find the DSSD too big for my puny wrist. Also I am not a cyclops fan. I have found one but it does not have papers/box etc. The price is ok given the lack of accessories, it is offered at $ 5200. It does not have lug holes in the case and has an “AD” code on the clasp. This indicates a 2003 model. The question is, did the 16660 come out in 2003 without lugholes, or is this a newer case on an older strap. I did not get an opportunity to take the strap off to see the serial number. Please help ! Thanks |

Either could be true...no lug holes could mean newer head and I've seen lug holes on F s/n SDs in 2003...
And if a newer head was on a 2003 clasp coded bracelet it wouldn't have lugholes...

Fwiw my 16600 serial dates it from 2001-2003 and it does have lug holes. My assumption is the no-lug hole version of the 16600 began sometime in 2003.
You're going to love it. Best of luck m |
