Is the ROC the most underappreciated and Overlooked AP?
Its been on my Love list for a long time though it was a nice daily wear vintage rolex more than the 15300 and the base Royal Oaks, I loved the look, functionality, sportiness and sophistication of it. Recent pics on Rubber, and Crock straps have bolstered even more how its much more versatile than first meets the eye.
Seems to me to be easily dressed up or sported up even moreso than the daytona. Just seems many WIS overlook the model and go full dress of the base/classic models or full sport of the ROO |

The 39mm size is perfect, & the detail is superb... I am a huge admirer, but servicing may keep me from becoming an owner...

Servicing is $1200 every 5 years isn't it? Or is it more?

For the the ROC 39mm is beautiful, but I just do not seem to like the subdials on the 41mm. Ruined the watch for me. Just my opinion.

I love the ROC, I think some might not put at top of list because of non in-house movement, for me it's a stunner either way. Could be my next buy...

Hi Neil,
Stainless steel. And...... I've just taken delivery of it. However, I decided on the silver dial over the black having cosidered the silver previously. Black is a classic choice but I had been struggling with my options and having a YG Nautilus 5711 with a silver dial, which I love, I realised that that was my preferred dial choice. As you can imagine I am over the moon with my purchase. If I can, I'll post a pic or two soon. |
