Icon10 I've fallen in love.......

Dear all

It could well be a "grail". I don't know if I'll ever have the funds to justify purchase. But I was looking through my 2012-2013 AP Catalogue and marvelled at the limited edition platinum royal oaks. Both are open worked, one tourbillion the other self winding - so in the uk - a house ( for tourbillion) or a flat ( for the self winding) would be an idea of the value ball park

With only 40 pieces each produced i doubt there is actually one available to purchase world wide anyway. I sigh.

Then I find the 15305st. 39mm. Open worked with second hand.
From pics alone - it was honestly my favourite of the bunch then, when I looked into it I found out It's steel not platinum. And it's not " limited" - for once I actually prefer something ten times cheaper than the other options. Never the less - it is the price of a new car or a preowned Porsche 911

Anyway. Has anyone got one? Or pics from trying one on?
I'd like to see it on 7.5 inch wrist so I know how seriously to lust after it!!!

There are a cpl 15305's on here, and even a Skeleton Perpetual Calendar. That Pt Openworks is BEAUTIFUL, and I especially love that it has a date function on it. The price I believe is somewhere in the mid $100k's, so I will unfortunately never have one :-/

Thanks for pics

One of the reasons I like watches Is the fantastic mechanics under the dial. It's amazing to see it - but often i find the crystal caseback doesn't really deliver in the same way. Or the watch can seem too fragile/ dressy for my taste as a result

Being apro I expect the finishing and aesthetics to be good and watch to be reasonably rugged in appearance and function . This ref certainly ticks my boxes. And I also like it as its similar in appearance to the two limited edition platinum models- but £75k cheaper than the date version and £220 k cheaper than the tourbillion - both of which are only doable on a lottery win for most people I imagine

This watch is really a horogists dream I think. And ( hopefully) one day attainable
