Well done and as a rule if someone is saying they are new here but a senior member of another forum, then always PM that member there to confirm its the real person.

Good move and thank you
X2

Also have no idea why anyone would even consider buying a watch from someone with no or little feedback let alone zero posts. It is real easy to deal with trusted sellers or members that are well known with great reputations.

Hi, I would like to buy your account from rolexforums.com if you would like to sell it, as I see you don't have to much activity there and for me will be very helpful to have an old account on a forum where I stay all the time. Offcourse it will not be related with you in anyway, I mean it will be my email attached to the account and we will change the profile info.

Thanks

Yea. He picked someone who has been around for quite sometime but not very active so not well known.

Us people who lurk more than post would be a prime target for someone like that.

I agree. I used it a few times and got bombarded with scammers with zero to a few posts who had "exactly the watch I was looking for!"

Hahaha.

because of a recent close call with a no-post buyer, i won't trade with non pledge members or no-posters any more. if you can't fork over $25 to register, and access good sellers or buyers, you're either not serious or just phishing for account numbers and email addresses. i also only comm via PM's or ph# for now on.

Remember post count is not that difficult to run up very quickly if you are so inclined. I have been observing a new member from a distance that has racked up a lot of (nonsense) posts in a very short period of time. No proof they are a scammer but it is very strange behavior.

Not all behavior is strange though - you can rack up a lot of posts by just playing the current TRF games!

Fair enough, but a 100+ thumbs up (or the equivalent) posts in 3 hours is a little odd.

Yeah, saying "congrats" a few times a day will get you up there pretty sharpish.
