I would recommend against doing any kind of touch-up for any kind of daily scratches. The only way to avoid these are to not wear the watch at all...kinda defeats the idea of even buying it. If you're wearing a watch with no scratches at all then it would lead me to believe that you don't favor it much ;)

It will come back like new!

If you spend your life worrying about scratches, you're going to miss out on the joy or owning a nice watch.

Spot on. My Jubilee clasp gets new scratches all the time. Do I worry? No. It's nothing Rik can't take care of when I finally send it down for a service (hopefully at the end of this month).

I don't recommend wearing it swimming anymore. Nor in the shower. Also, take off before washing hands or dishes.

Ok x4

I have my wonderful watch itīs a Omega Planet Ocean 8500 Orange(bezel Aluminum)

Well When I got my first scratch I was so bad, the watch will not scratch itīs made with Ceramica(but will broke or something like that).

Thesedays when I look my watch, I remember a history how i GET A SCRATCH I think

When my aluminum bezel will scratch I will be very bad, But I know I can Change for another(right?)

Enjoy use with no moderation, just be careful do not scratch a dial

PS: But I have a bad Habit, I wash my watch everyday with soap, or with toothbrush with soap, and after with my fingers(YES EVERYDAY) Donīt have a problem to wash everyday, or have a problem, like resect a gasket(itīs bad for the gasket

I would put it in a box, seal it and never wear it again ... LOL

Don't worry, your Sub can take it, and more.

If you are concerned about nicks and scratches on a tool watch, then maybe Rolex isn't the watch for you.

Ignore them. You will find that in time you are less bothered by the dings and dents then the fact that sometimes you have no idea how they got there in the first place....

It seems like more damage is done swimming than other sports here.

Every week we get a scratch thread. Just chill. Relax and enjoy. No need to polish.
