Valjoux 7750 locking-up
Is the 7750 valjoux movement prone to chronometer lock-up when the 4 o'clock pusher is used while the chrono is timing?? I was told never to push that button until the timer is stopped first with the 2 o'clock button. Once locked up movement has to be opened in order to release it.
Anybody have experience with this? |

Never heard of that before. Not sure if it's true or not. I've owned 3 watches with the 7750 movement and never had problems. dP

Nope - just tried it with mine and the reset button didn't do anything when the chrono was running.

It just cannot happen when the Chrono is working, but with all chronographs best stop first then press the re-set.

No Gary, the reset button has no function whatsoever while the chrono is running. The lever is out of reach for this button to be operational, untill the chrono is stopped.

Thanks for the info from everybody. It doesn't sound logical to me, but I sure as heck don't know everything about these watches. Just going by what I was told.
