The Limes brand developed out of their watch case manufacture--I can't remember that name just now. Regardless, the watches they make are well done for the money and a good value. In fact, I have heard nothing but praise from those who have purchased them. In the past they have been using ETA movements and I don't know if they are still doing this or have switched--you might want to check this. Japanese movements are also excellent, of course, but some occasionally use plastic parts so you might feel that you are not getting the same thing as a swiss/german made movement. Many watches made by manufacturers who have relied on ETA/Swatch have been making a transition to movements from other brands, often Japanese. But I don't know if this is true yet of Limes or not. If it is important to you, I would check on this. Overall though, they make very good stuff and the value for the money is excellent. Hope this helps--best of luck.

I've been getting into German watches in a big way.

Here's the Limes website.

Yep, Limes...

I'm really liking my Endurance 1Tausend. Just bought my mother an Artemisia for XMas as well. Nothing bad to say here.
