What modern Rolex model depreciates the most? Is it the Milgauss? I'm beginning to lust this one.

I wouldn't look at a watch as an investment......but a Rolex usually does ok as far as holding its value etc.

Probably a quartz Cellini or a TT Ladies 29mm size Rolex.

Definitely not looking for an investment. I do like the Milgauss and the Explorer I 39mm. Can't decide. I may also consider pre-owned, hence the depreciation question. Best bang for the buck kind of thinking. I've never bought a used watch before.

Seems like you can always find a really good deal on both the Milgauss, and the Explorer I. Even BNIB examples. Especially here in the Classified Section.n

Milgauss GV seems to go for about $6,300 used, which is about what you would pay for BNIB on the grey market. So it doesn' lose anything if you go grey.

Dig this....I bought a pre-owned explorer, the 36mm one......in 2010, it was sold new in 2009, it's a D serial, had 2 owners, flippers, the watch was exactly 1 year old when I got it......paid US$3K for it, it was in minty shape.....got the full kit & it's still in a minty shape.....I see them selling for more than US$3K.
Rolex holds its value.

Best bang for the buck would be a used Explorer 36mm or Explorer 2 40mm, or 1675 or 5500. In my humble opinion.

Seriously guys....why worry....just wear the damn thing and enjoy it. Why would you care how much it loose?? All things other than properties (will loose money). Surely you guys are not thinking of making a fortune by buying Rolexes??? If that's the case you guys should just invest in properties instead
