Once you go Sub(mariner)- there ain't no sub(stitute).
Hello all my first Rolex was a DJII as a gift from my in-laws as an engagement present. I wore it everyday for a year.
Then I purchased my 114060 Sub and wear it all the time. My DJII is lucky if it gets 5 hours the whole week. Has anyone else had this happen? Bought any other watch 1st and then once getting a Sub it's like it's the only watch you own? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free |

I'm crazy about my 114060. I never get tired of it and don't want to wear anything else. it's such a beauty. I might as well get rid of my others.

My first was a Planet Ocean, a beauty, still love it, but then came my Sub and the Omega started to gather dust.
One month ago I picked up an Explorer I, now the Sub is gathering dust! Such problems.

I wear many of my watches equally. At least for me, there's no preference for the Sub.

Every new watch gets a honeymoon, at least in my case.
I bought a 14060M in December of 2011 and I have to admit that it dominates my wrist, but the others get their time too and each time I switch to one of the others, it's just like falling in love again. Each is a masterpiece in its own right. You don't have to worry about having a favorite and when the time comes, you'll find a time that is right to wear the DJII again and you might even develop a pattern for wear, but in the meantime, just enjoy your Sub. And congratulations. The 114060 is my favorite of the new Sub line.

I still think that if there was to only be one, it would be a Sub.

I have the exact same Datejust as yours in your avatar. My only go to watch that is all purpose for everything. I thought about the Sub also but the Datejust has the same movement and durability without the heft. Nice choices.

I've only worn my DOXA and my Seamaster for a couple of hours each after getting my Sub. I still give them a monthy wind and will wear one for an hour or two but that's pretty much it. I feel like I'm cheating when I put another watch on...

I put them all in equal footing in rotation, but I have to admit that Sub day has at times become Sub week!
