Icon12 I Just Love Blue Lume!

Why can't some other watch manufacturers get this beaut lume color?

Unfortunately, this fine GMT model is unavailable in Australia. Eterna has a long pedigree. The Kon Tiki series commemorates the crossing of the Pacific Ocean on a balsa raft 'Kon Tiki' by the Norwegian explorer the late Thor Heyerdahl in 1947.

The Bell&Ross Instrument has blue lume as well, and I quite like the way it looks.

Probably the reason why so few other use it would be that the more natural you keep the paint, the longer it will glow. And the natural color of luminova is a white/green. The blue pigments reduce the strength and the longevity of the luminosity.

Gee that Bell & Ross really shines! Pity about the microscopic date!

The blue pigments reduce the strength and the longevity of the luminosity. I didn't know that. What about orange?

That Bell & Ross is really nice? Who sells them? Any high-end watch dealer?

I think that there are only 42 distribution points for B&R in US.
Check out their site, and you can locate one fairly easy.
