You are correct. The pics really exaggerate it though and the difference is much smaller to the naked eye. A very tiny price to pay for such a finished look, IMHO.

Very few of Rolex end-links are completely flush to the lugs, just look at a modern Submariner, an old Sea-Dweller 16600 etc.

From raw stainless steel rod to a nice handsome looking finished end link.. I guess most people wouldn't believe the pre-end link look.[IMG][/IMG]
