I do love watches on leather strap, I see a lot of people have the custom end links. I feel that custom end links do nothing for the watches at all, and in fact give the watch a terrible square shape not in line with the originality of the actual design.

You should let Rolex know that, they may want to redesign the leather strap and end links that come on some Daytona's Same look as custom ends.
