There's a lot of wiggle room there.

I think this an awesome commercial - it has gone viral, everyone is talking about it, even people that probably didn't know Volvo made trucks as well. Who cares of there was some tricks involved and/or if JC makes fun of himself. Top notch!

Great concept and poking fun at oneself isn't so bad either.

I love how you all think he was being ironic, just guessing but I don't think many paying gigs allow him to pick and choose...

I'm not a big fan of JCVD movies but of that were Jackie Chan doing that stunt, everyone would think it was pretty cool. Heck, if Steve McQueen were doing it.... I'm impressed.

Yepp, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dolph_Lundgren Mind you that Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm is the MIT of Northern Europe, it is quite the feat just to get accepted. Oh well, he was accepted to MIT as well but then Grace Jones happened... ;-)

Yes yes, I exaggerated Dolph's credentials, my larger point was that I wouldn't want to get into a spelling contest with Drago, but JCVD, him I'm not to worried about!!

By the way, I think I'm going to give you a new nickname, I'm going to call you the "Discreditor" cause you like to call anyone on the slightest little inaccuracy

Thanks Marc,

I'll take that as a compliment.

Although I wouldn't consider the distinction between a MS in Chem engineering, and two doctorate degrees to be a slight little inaccuracy.

Try it on your resume and tell me how that works out for you.

Nobody would accuse JCVD of being a great actor. He is in a similar category to Chuck Norris, Sly Stallone, Stephen Segal, Big Arnie and quite a few others as an entertaining personality who cruises along doing stuff aimed at a certain demographic.
I have enjoyed the occasional movie by all of these guys although watching more than one in a row probably qualifies as some sort of torture.
I thought his movie "JCVD" was kinda interesting.
