The AP deployant clasp, I'm confused
Hey guys,
Maybe some of you know the answer to my question. I always thought that the AP clasps did not come with holes in them. Though, here and there I see clasps with them and without them. Is there any explanation? Until when, from when did AP uses holes in their clasp for the springbar? Some have it, some don't, I don't see a consistency but imo most don't have holes. Anyone knows about this? With hole: No hole: |

That's what I'd like to get to know, which ones have holes and which ones don't. The first one pictured is a G-series.

It's as easy as that... |

I also have my doubts about it being a fake as I've seen it on other ROO's as well.

I'm not 100% sure (as I've never owned any AP strap deployant clasps other than the Bee) but I don't ever recall seeing holes in them at the AD.

Hey Stijn, I am very weary of any holes, a common fake tell, unless someone here does know exactly which series/years had some.

reputable sellers get duped as well on parts such as clasps and buckles (who most don't pay much attention to).
The most convincing lies are those with half truths. |

I have seen fake buckles without holes as well so don't just trust the ones you see without holes. Look for the stamp or whatever its called under the screw that holds the bar that goes in to the strap
What a terrible explanation but I think you understood :) |
