What's up with this "Holiday 2013 Rolex booklet"
I have received 3 booklets (all the same) from different ADs. Is this a mandatory thing Rolex ask all their dealers to send to their customers?
I am just intrigued? Did you guys get it as well?. I am guessing that depending on the number of Rolex dealers you did business on the past that's the number of booklets you will be receiving. At least in the US. The booklet is envelope shaped and portrays Rolex popular models. Is just 12 pages, it has that aura like they were presenting new products (obviously not the case). Different tactic maybe? Also my dealers (non-Rolex) have been more lenient with discounts when buying. I don't know, but I am sensing a shift on the watch market, or maybe is just me. |

I've purchased all my watches from the same AD in northern New Jersey, and I have not received any booklet or holiday mailing.

The ADs can participate in co-marketing campaigns that include unique sales collateral - Rolex and the AD split the costs along a pre-set share based on many factors including volume.
So some may find that their ADs are participating while others may not - Rolex doesn't control the mail list.

I think I have received 5 of these so far, all from different ADs.
If anyone in the Rolex management is reading this, consider sending a Rolex calendar next year instead. Just my .02. |

I used to get a lot of Rolex mailings from Ben Bridge, but after both of the local stores lost Rolex, I no longer get them.

Rolex has always been big on Christmas spirit. Since at least WWII anyway.
