A Small Incoming
Been looking for something for Mrs Beast for a while now, partly to say thanks for supporting my self-indulgent Rolex hobby. We saw this 2005 14000M together yesterday at a used/vintage watch show and I went to the dealer's premises today to pick it up after a bit of overnight research, and haggling. A few signs of wear and minor scratches, but nothing that our friends at RSC can't deal with. Will take it in tomorrow and hopefully get it back by the end of the month. It came in at just under US$2,000 and should cost US$250 to service, as did my Explorer last month. Needless to say, she is quite excited to finally have her own "incoming" on TRF.

She says thank you very much.
Julian....thanks...let's see if they can turn it around before new years eve. Might be January if they're getting a few days off for the holidays.

The A-K and the OP are two great choices.
You can always pull it back from the watchmaker for the holidays and put it back into the spa after that.

Good work! Extremely impressed with your RSC prices, too.
In fact, it's cheaper for me to ship to and from HK than have Sydney go near mine! Which RSC is it, if you don't mind sharing? |
