You are the best
Why do you think he was going to complain or make you feel bad? If you work in these years was the most important thing a woman can do. The more of pride and also the hardest. I congratulate you and your husband must be proud of the woman he have.
I am visiting forums for many years and I'm in no doubt that the best is DavidSW. Good luck!! |

You guys crack me up when you tell a first time poster to check out "who's who", call "David SW" or "Seek out a TRF seller". Like this lady knows what any of those things are or acronyms mean or feels comfortable wiring someone $9k and hoping she gets a watch....
Original poster you are in San Fran, it's a big city, make some calls to Rolex dealers and have them order you one. That way, you husband will get all the box, papers, documents and his name on the warranty card and he can visit them later for sizing of the bracelet and any questions he may have on how the watch operates... |

It's apparent you do not prefer the grey market - though, that was the OP's original question. You on the other hand, give no relevant information. Numerous gray dealers here on TRF can get BNIB, with your name on the warranty card. Further, re-sizing the bracelet is something that can easily be done at home with a simple screwdriver. ...for any questions down the line regarding "how the watch operates..." -- well, no better resource than right here on TRF. |

I would give my home keys to DavidSW without hesitation!
He is simply the best, good communication, hassle free, shipping, insurance, efficiency, speed and reliable. Everything you would want on a Rolex purchase. Btw, give your husband THE BLUE & BLACK With the black one he will be happy but with the Blue/black he will be SUPER Happy. Trust me! Good luck

very thoughtful of you. If you prefer to see and touch the watch before purchasing, then you should go to a local Rolex Authorized Dealer. You will pay a higher price this way, but will also have a local contact your husband can go to for future reference/repairs.
Alternatively, you can see it in person at the authorized dealer and then inquire with one of the already named trusted sellers here who can get you the same watch with boxes and papers, but at a discount. Choice is entirely yours, but rest assured your husband will love the watch regardless of which route you choose in making your purchase. |

Go to an AD, make sure he has one, reserve it and go there with your husband to purchase it. There is nothing like the smell of new watches when you come into an AD. That experience is part of the pleasure, not getting a watch through the mail....

BTW, most any AD should be more than willing to size a bracelet for you, probably free. It is traffic in their shop and gives them a chance to establish a relationship with a Rolex owner - a very good contact for any AD to make. There should be no guilt feelings about him not having bought the watch from them, if he is willing to pay a nominal fee to have it sized. Besides, he didn't buy it anyway. It was a present.
Here's the specifics on how I did my due diligence here on the sellers: a) Went through the Rolex for sale forum and picked out some of the most active sellers that have been on here a while. b) Did an advanced search of each seller in the who's who forum, by entering their username in the search box and filtering the results to the who's who section only. All their feedback in which their username appeared in the thread (basically all of them) pop up in the search results. Then I went through them. Now, I didn't have a timetable on my last couple of purchases. If I was in more of a hurry then I would first advance search "116710" or "BLNR" and see who has one for sale. Then proceed with step 2 above. Best of luck.
