Interesting difference and observation !!

Hi guys,

Here are two pictures of the BREITLING "B" etching on the side of the bezel. The first one belongs to a friend and you will notice that the "B" loop on top just goes over the alphabet.

The second pic is of my watch and you will notice that the loop stop short and meets up with the alphabet without crossing over. Wonder why?

Remember, I am referring to the tiny etched "B" on the side of the bezel!!

Here ya go...my friend's watch...

...and mine

It's obviously a fake JJ, take it back to the dealer and ask for a FULL refund to finance your next Rolex! ;o)

It is known that the Breitling models without the domed lozenge crown has the "B" engraved with the loop going over the alphabet. While the models with domed crowns (like ours) have their loop stopped exactly at the alphabet. So don't worry 'bout it, JJ! I have the same one like yours!

You're in good hands, but we're in the wrong forum

Here are more FAQs on our beloved watch, JJ

http://people.timezone.com/breitling/bfaq/FAQ.html

I think I am going to buy this book ...

What is the best book about Breitling?

Check out "Breitling -- The History of a Great Brand of Watches 1884 to Present" by Benno Richter. The 2nd Edition was published in 2000 by Schiffer. It retails for $49.95 in the US and the ISBN number is 0-7643-1006-2.
The book contains the history of Breitling and its models, a list of reference numbers and a price guide. It has many pictures of vintage and newer Breitlings, as well as some very cool vintage advertisements.

This is just another excuse to post pictures of the crossfart.

The next generation will have an "S" after the "B"

Very useful book, with lots of pictures of early models.

We don't even know if he has the EXPII anymore. It's been about 6-7 months since he bought it. That's a long time for JJ to keep a watch

And have you noticed there have been no pics of it posted in the past several months. I bet he got rid of the thing and is too embarrassed to tell us.

Haven't dumped anything yet, Johnny. Just haven't been wearing it for a very long time. Find 3 watches a bit uncomfortable and inconvenient to handle.

Only sure now of keeping the TT Blue YM....the rest....I don't know.....but will certainly keep you guys updated as I always do in my own inimitable style!!
